Forbes is reporting on a recent study done by MIT Lincoln Laboratory that assesses the reliability of our natural gas supply system during electric power grid outages and finding that "natural gas supplies would continue to flow with minimal risk of interrupted deliveries during electric power grid outages of three months or longer."
You might consider a whole house generator ... just in case.
