The Philadelphia Business Journal is reporting on a recent survey from Business Facilities ranking Pennsylvania 9th in the nation in economic growth potential. Interesting, the same survey ranks Ohio 7th in the nation in economic growth potential. The reason behind both rankings: Energy development potential in the state. Quoting from the report: "We expect the economic benefits from natural gas fracking operations in the Marcellus Shale formation to start paying dividends in PA and OH in terms of spurring economic development in both states."
