The Tribune Chronicle is reporting on a six-year natural gas supply agreement reached between the Northeast Ohio Public Energy Council (NOPEC) and Ohio-based NextEra Energy Services regarding production from the Utica shale. "The six-year pact between NOPEC and NextEra Energy will translate into an estimated savings of 50 to 60 cents per thousand cubic feet (Mcf) compared to today's delivered gas prices, translating to annual savings of up to $25 million for all NOPEC customers, or up to $150 million over the term of the agreement."
Nice.
