With 2013 coming to a close, this blog entry is to remind owners/operators of hazardous waste facilities and facilities that are subject to EPCRA hazardous chemical inventory reporting, including producers of oil and natural gas, of their reporting obligations for the 2013 calendar year. Specifically, the 2013 Annual Hazardous Waste Report (and Supplementary Ground Water Monitoring Report, if applicable) and the EPCRA Tier II Chemical Inventory Report are both due by March 1, 2014.
· Ohio EPA has posted instructions for completing the 2013 Annual Hazardous Waste Report.
· Instructions for completing the Tier II Inventory Report and U.S. EPA’s Tier II Submit Software, which allows owners/operators to complete the Tier II Report electronically, are available on U.S. EPA’s website.
