The Division of Oil and Gas Resources Management (Division) has released the first quarterly shale production report for third quarter of 2013. From the Canton Repository: "During the third quarter, 245 wells reported production, while another 40 wells were waiting on pipeline connections and reported no production, according to a release from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. *** Combined, those 245 wells produced 1.33 million barrels of oil and 33.6 billion cubic feet of natural gas, a figure that includes natural gas liquids."
