From The Columbus Dispatch: "Houston-based Appalachian Resins has signed an agreement to lease 50 acres of land from the Monroe County Port Authority that will be used for the construction of a $1 billion processing plant that will take ethane – a component of natural gas – and break it down into a substance that can be used to make chemicals and plastic." The article notes that the plant would employ 150 to 200 workers.
