EIA’s June Drilling Productivity Report estimates continued growth in Utica shale production through July 2015. The Report forecast that oil production will increase by 1 Mbbl per day while gas production will increase by 42 MMcf per day. According to the report, the Utica was the only region to reflect a gain in gas production and one of only two regions to reflect a gain in oil production.
